And That's a Wrap!
The filming process took my partner, Celine, and me about a day. The majority of the clips were filmed on December 7th, alongside any retakes. The clips that were shot lined up with the storyboard created to ensure that everything that could be filmed was. However, while filming, there were a few complications that could affect the editing stage of the music video. Additionally, the beach is usually very windy, and I am quite sure some of the sounds of the wind were picked up on the shots, which could pose an issue while editing the clips together. However, it should not be a major issue, since the song will be layered over it. My partner Celine and I are full-time students so there isn't as much spare time as the group would've liked. Fortunately, there was an available time period for the group to go to the beach and film, which was taken full advantage of. Since my partner and I went to the beach after school, it was a bit later and the sun was already starting to set. Using the tripod provided by Celine, it was essential that time spent filming scenes was quick and done correctly. Unfortunately, there were a few issues with this. The tripod that I was using to film kept falling over due to the wind. It also kept falling over or would be crooked because of the surface it was in. The "floor" of the beach is sand, which unless packed together, is loose and unstable. This made it difficult to film at first, as Celine and I had to figure out how to solve this issue. Once the issue was resolved, the filming process was fairly simple. Aside from the people and dogs in the background, it was straightforward. There were no issues with rain, as Celine checked the weather beforehand and it had rained the night beforehand. Overall, the filming process was simple, even with the few issues it held. Everything that needed to be filmed and refilmed has been done!
